Device - Voice - Drum is a live DVD from Kansas around 2002. It opens with an animated thing of musical instrument things which is pretty cool. My and probably most Kansas fans' faves are there. Being from 2002 they was in good shape and generally that was a good time for concerts. They've been doing the casino thing lately and if I had the time and energy at the same time I'd probably check out a show. Two-disc set on CD. Would put an Amazon link but those can change - here's the a review.

Whiskey of the day is Jack Daniel's regular. Back in the day, my day anyway and there's been a few, Jack wasn't that special but Idunno if it was the 90s or later it got more popular and accordingly pricier. I ain't tried any of their select stuff they got so many flavors that take up shelf space in the likker store along with Beam and others doing the same most stores around here don't have the low-octane Turkey on the shelf, just the 101 stuff. Whatever. Seegar today is Romeo Y Julieta Reserve Amores. Decent little smoke out of a batch I ordered from Mikes and hadn't gotten around to trying. How about we have some fun?



Classic book is the first of the Casca series. I see that Amazon has a pic of the first or an early paperback - I believe mine is the fires edition. The only paper versions are used but Kindle and Audiobook are available. At at $60-70 for used ones I should consider selling my library. If I needed the money I would but I guess that's for the younguns. Most of them read a lot so that's good.

Casca Rufio Longinus the Roman soldier apparently had a bad attitude (and the spear at Golgotha) so Jesus told him he would go on soldiering until He gets back. In Casca's case he continually soldiers and dies and gets reborn in different times from Vietnam (author Barry Sadler first became famous because The Green Berets and went on to write the Casca books) to WWII to Mexico with Cortez and sailing with Vikings and all but not in chronological order so he's jumping back and forth. You get the idea.

It'a better than average as pulp goes and the grit and grime and blood and dismemberment and general nasty conditions when one isn't killing or being killed is pretty realistic. As history aside from Casca's involvement (like when he meets Hitler or other famous/infamous people it's pretty accurate in terms of what's going on around him. Recommended.



Classic movie is F/X2 from 1991. It's a sequel to 1986's F/X and stars Bryan Brown and Brian Dennehy return for this one. Since it's been 35 or so years it might be recycled sooner or later probably with the usual decline in quality or someone might to a good job what with all the new talent and people who care less about Hollywood and don't have to. Brian Dennehy passed away some years ago and so wouldn't be available for a sequel and Bryan Brown is near eighty.

Bryan the slightly younger Aussie and Brian the older acerbically cynical make an entertaining pair what with Brian playing practical jokes on Bryan and the usual banter while being chased and shot at is fun. What's it about? Well it starts with a murder case and a hot model with a nerd kid who has turns out to have a floppy disk of games with and important clue and somehow some gold coins stolen from the Vatican and of course dirty cops. And a dirty DA who is selling out to the Mafia and she gets busted because she of her cat's name and gives her his gun loaded with blanks as she knows she's gonna try to kill him. He has movie blood thingies and falls down and acts dead until the action is over for the moment and then gets up and....

Lots of fun, improbable stuff like the telemetry suit flying a helicopter with nobody in the suit. The gold coins (connected to Leonardo and the Sistine Chapel or something) are apparently fictional. Anyway watched it a few times back in the day and probably will again some day.







Snack of the day is arthchoke hearts and sardines. Not gonna eat all six cans or the whole jar - maybe two cans. The Reese and Vigo some in the same size jar at Wal-Mart and about the same price. I usually keep a few bigger jars of the Mezzetta which taste about the same. Not that they taste like much at all without the marinade and pretty sure I wouldn't eat them otherwise.

Probably consume about half the jar but they're hard to quit eating. Jars are pretty cool for storing small stuff, screws and what-not. I built a couple of wooden six-pack containers to put a group of six in and may build a shelf to hold a lot more. Handy as all get-out for stuff.



Dunno who that is, some doofus at the Tribune Content Agency which is the Chicago Tribune. They publish a lot of other newspapers but Chicago Tribune tells all you need to know. When Todd Blanche was being examined by the Senate for confirmation one of the Demonrat punks, don't remember now which one but it seems it was Whitehouse. He asking him if he gonna persecute people the president tells him to and cover up for the president. Usual shit. Like Biden's Merrick Gollum and Ovomit's Eric Holder didn't. And in fact President Trump's AGs have done no such thing and have gone way too easy on scum. Do the punks that draw these toons believe any of that shit? Opinions vary and you can't be stupid enough to really believe it and draw a coherent picture but you can be pretty dumb. Dumb enough not to get what Ovomit and Biden did and Trump has done none of?
Believing is relative in unstable minds. Believing or perception or what one believes one is perceiving? And then there is the question of whether the unstable mind is demented beyond the ability to perceive rather than feel impulses. Some intelligent people like Tucker Carlson are plenty smart - not as smart as you and me but smart - and have chosen a side or a meal ticket. Whether Carlson (money and notoriety) or a marginally intelligent like some political cartoonists (taking midwit at best) who act on emotion alone. This dude probably does see what Trump is doing as persecution of innocent people. Being dumb and ruled by emotions is probably the case in most of those.

I'll hit a couple of local items real quick, local being Jonestown and the general area. Up in Greene County (where Paragould is) somebody in the sheriff's department stoled some money. Forty thousand dollars, guessing that's approxlmate since she stoled it in two or more pieces and occasions.

Weiner is a little wide spot in the road between Hickory Ridge and Jonestown. Going north first you hit Fisher with about a hunnderd-something and then Weiner. Population of Weiner is six-something and got a city council and I guess a mayor. One of the city council members got arrested fer stalking some presumably person.

A dead man found in the road at Blytheville. There just enough info to suggest that the roadway was a city street but I ain't been there in a long time.

NEA Report puts their stuff on Fakebook and people commentate on it. Sometimes Jonesbororightnow does too but I didn't see this one. Anyway all these people there saying what a nice fellow he was and they felt sorry fer him and shit. Kareem Abdul-Jabaar Jones - that is the name I kid you not - allegedly was drunk and ran a stop sign and kilt one cop and injured the other. Now I care less for cops these days than I ever did but I don't have encounters with them and hope not to but I care less for drunk people driving' around killin' people.

No, just police generally. It's the stupidity. State CID told me to report the crime to the city PD and they could request assistance from the state. Jonestown cops wouldn't let me make a report because they said there weren't a crime. That's when my fuck supply hit zero.



Couple of Brancos for you. He's about the best, with Garrision and Varvel close. Ramirez is pretty good but something wacky about his site lately. What that first one is about is there some pretty good white players in the WNBA and apparently one is about the best period so she gets a lot hate. The fact that the hardly one watches it and because of her a lot more people have been lately there major butthurt on some butts. Other one is about the speech by PRESIDENT TRUMP where he laid out the receipts on the 2020 election. When a Republican wins they all sure there was cheatin' but when they win one with a statistically impossible vote count anyone who questions it is bad and evil and stuff.



Human Harvest has been done for a while, hence the 2022 date. I've finished the final proof and Jessica is reading it a couple more times. We both got it about memorized. I'll stick in on the Kindle account when it' done and probably sell a copy every couple of weeks (I get 66 cents) but I'm an author.

Got just a few seconds before I black out. He's focused on my face.

She opened her eyes, saw the flat stare, felt the fingers tightening.

She got her hand inside the pocket of her jacket, grasped the butt of the revolver.

Don't know if a .38 is enough but here goes.

She struggled, moving her left arm to draw his attention. He ignored her. The gun was free now.

"You need to get the muzzle oriented," Alex had told her. "Push until you make contact. Squeeze. If there's not an immediate effect, squeeze again. You've got five shots, don't blow them all at once."

The muzzle was pressed against something reasonably firm. She squeezed the trigger.

Probably wouldn't watch it anyway because of the blackwashing. That stuff is done partly out of resentment of some people that there are so few notable black achievements or achievers but also by those who have a little temporary power (control of the Hollywood creative process) and they can be offensive not to white people - although whites are the primary target - but people of any color with intelligence and intellectual integrity. BTW an excellent TV miniseries from 1997 or so was very well done and I still watch it occasionally. Guess what? Vanessa Williams (an African-American) is one of the characters. Anyway Helen isn't in Homer's Odyssey. She's in the Iliad. Any excuse to fuck thing up. ~~~ Taylor Farms (California) imports lettuce from Mexico and eating anything from that source is risky. Now all these days after the gastric distress epidemic traced to the product there was a false positive that caused the panic. This is from CBS and they haven't been reformed completely (the 60 Minutes situation is fun) so they continue to peddle the narrative for the most part. ~~~ The Guardian has always been on the wrong side of the fine line and they probably wish the Nazi (and a pretty thoroughly crazy one) trying for the Maine Senate seat got bounced. While we're in Wynne or the Cross County area anyway let's to a recent arrest report from the county boys. A 50 year old woman nailed for meth, traffic stop thing where you go to jail for more stuff. Drive careful folks and don't carry drugs. Another female perp aged 25 was arrested for stealin' -- excuse me possessing a stolen U-Haul truck. Another female aged 32 left a kid in the car and went into a MacDonald's and got arrested for endangering. OK, lessee, another female type was intoxicated and conducting herself in a disorderly manner and shooting a gun and so.... this last one is male age 65 and I checked the lockup list because a Frankie could plausible be female. The Progress also reported on the guy in Weiner who allegedly stalked somebody or other. And that's about it for now.

It's quite likely that any good stuff disappeared when his properties were raided - there is proof that stuff disappeared from his place in New York while the FBI had the site secured. At any rate Donald Trump's life has been so well-documented for many years (including him offering assistance when he was prosecuted the first time) and any trips to Pedo Island would hardly have escaped notice. My guess is that people like Anderson are smart enough to know that but assume that there are enough people out there who aren't that their work will have some effect. Actually they're preaching to the choir and the choir is getting smaller all the time. ~~~ Attacking Microsoft and others who use cheap imported labor will only happen when a Republican is president. Trump has been trying to slow the influx if "talented" visas and is shipping illegals out as fast as possible.

I guess after they are found is a good time to investigate dead apparently shot bodies is after they found dead since doing it before would take some talent. This happened in Malden Misery and it's a ways up from Arkansas. Population about 3700 and declining at a few hundred per year for the last three decades.

When a body is found hidden in a hotel room (I'm guessing it was a motel room as the joint was a Rodeway Inn - the TV article writer spelled it Roadway) one wonders if the room was used by other people during those three months. It in South Dakota so that's possible as not a lot of people live there. Apparently some people of Native American ancestry from the names. Cause of death not yet determined but some people were arrested for improperly disposing of a body. Makes sense.

Two pieces on a Batesville cop that got into some trouble while off-duty. Both articles are about the same, suggesting that on-duty BPD personnel were at a residence (on a call?) when the off-duty cop who was there fled. The on-duty personnel gave chase and tv-eyed him about five miles later. Apparently he was under the influence as that is one of the charges, the fleeing and reckless drivin' are pretty much defaults. Dunno what the aggravated assault is about, maybe the reason they were called. Dunno what Batesville is like these days as I don't get up there much. They had one of the early big-ass Super Wal-Marts and I used to go up there once in a while and hit a couple of other places I don't remember.

Dunno why the Wynne Progress reports a traffic fatality in Forrest city but they did. Sometimes people from Forrest City driving in Wynne get kilt in crashes but this weren't one of them. Or a Wynne people perishing in a crash in Forrest City either. Forrest City person driving in Forrest City - reportedly fast - and crashed. The article also mentions a non-fatal wreck near Harrisburg. Whether this guy was the one the ambulance came for it don't say but probably not. Sometimes it is the on they came to get that gets crazy.

Yeah, the body in the motel was in South Dakota. It on the KAIT teevee site because they part of a big outfit that owns a lot of teevee stations all over and they use that stuff to have stuff for people to click on because if it was only Jonestown and vicinity they wouldn't have much to talk about. They have a lot of clickbait too and it's hard to tell the difference sometimes.

Even muffled by their bodies the shot was loud. She gripped tightly. The mountain jerked, rolled slightly but not off of her.

Human Harvest (2022)

The Haitian deal may be better than the millions of debris from south of the border that only had to walk across to the land of free stuff but stuffing a pile of them into a small town wasn't a good idea. To be sure most of the cats and dogs eaten - and it did happen - were strays so they cleaned up a little but bringing Haiti to a small town is a crime against humanity. Free and fair aren't the same thing. Free to manufacture millions of votes with mail-in ballots issued to dead people and people who don't live in the state any longer and even multiple ballots to people who are extant and in the end Xeroxing fakes in the middle of the night if free. It isn't fair. That these things happened is a fact. Not what he said but probably some people believe it. Including the author or maybe they don't get that democracy doesn't exist in this Republic outside of private organizations. Even the small towns are governed by a city council and mayor or some similar arrangement. That is a Republic on a small scale but nowhere does democracy exist in government - a member of a club can leave if the majority continues to do stuff he/she doesn't like but while I can leave the USA I have as much right to be here as anyone and more than the illegals and birthright "citizens". Hopefully that will be fixed at some point before we have a president who was born in the USA and lived here for only a few hours before going back to China. The damage from not deporting millions of non-productive and destructive people is much worse. Economic damage to Microsoft and factory food producers I don't worry about. Now I'm one of those that buys whole cows and hogs raised on small farms and processed by small private operators and what little veggies I consume I get the same way. The author states that many appear not to believe or some intelligence analysts or a terrorism scholar (apparently the writer but I never heard of him/her/it) don't believe there is a threat from thousands of rent-a-mobs that pop up just like that with pallets of bricks delivered. OK sweetie, whatever you say. Four people either mentally unstable or... well, if you bought the propaganda and did something dumb you're not exactly stable. I don't like seeing people die before their time no matter what the cause but these people are the victims of those who use them for their ends. What I like less is a few hundred times as many American citizens, many of them children, who have died at the hands of illegals whether illiterate truck drivers with a CDL from a California or New York factory wiping out entire families at one shot.


Commie toons are scarce in the local media and the few that are there are of such poor quality they're an embarrassment. The quality of the sane people is much better and so is the intellectual content. Interestingly if you occasionally visit Facebook (I drop in once or twice a day to trigger some commie trolls and bail out) you can say pretty much whatever you want these days. Including making fun of the Plandemic - remember being censored if you even suggested it wasn't the threat to humanity much less a massive hoax or collections of hoaxes by people after money or power or both. Lately it's been anti-ICE and whether FB deliberately stuffs a lot of unknown users with as few as zero frients into my feed but the response is invariably brutal beyond belief. If this is any indicator of public sentiment the outlook for the next couple of years is good.


Dunno how the BBC thing will go. They're probably guilty than CBS but a foreign entity - I guess is they lose their US assets could be used to pay. Or we could get lucky and they would cease operations in the US. Not that many would notice any more than people noticed NPR losing taxpayer funding. Presumably some of the rich lefties continue to contribute and that was supposedly where most of their funding came from. Anyway Arizona was just the primary so whether Biggs can prevail in the general remains to be seen. But RINOs losing primaries (Cornyn and Cassidy were biggies) is always a good thing. And a hard-right as Biggs is described means you oppose racial quotas, the mental and physical mutilation of children, shit like that. Color me hard-right.
